The Summer I Became a Nerd - Leah Rae Miller 3.5 stars.
"All is donkey balls in love and war."
Oh, my references!
I adored this but I couldn't help but wish there'd been more, as in an epilogue after #31, but it was still amazing!

(Before I read the books)
Books like this are the reason why Nerdfighter authors are awesome!
I NEED THIS BOOK. NOW. THIS SOUNDS SO PERFECT!
image
I've said this before and I'm saying this now:
Nerdfighters + Writers = Awesomeness!

And I created a new exclusive shelf for this book! I just need to read this now! ACCIO MAY 7TH!!!!
Untitled (Untitled, #1) - Julie Kagawa ANOTHER SERIES BY JULIE KAGAWA?
This is going to be so awesome. This is going to be so awesome. Thisisgoingtobesoawesome, thisisgoingtobesoawesome thisisgoingtobesoawesome, thisisgoingtobesoawesome thisisgoingtobesoawesome and thisisgoingtobesoawesome!
My Everything (Beaumont, #1.5) - Heidi McLaughlin I'm not the biggest fan of novellas because I tell myself that I can go on just fine without reading most of them but then books like this prove me wrong. I don't know what to say … this book was just so special!
The Piper's Son - Melina Marchetta I think it was only me but it took me a long time to get through this book. 'Long time' as in about seven freaking days. I just didn't get into it until the last few chapters. But I did eventually fall in love with this book, though. How could I not while reading Melina Marchetta's book? Three words:
Feels, feels and feels.
What Really Happened in Peru - Cassandra Clare, Sarah Rees Brennan I may read this or I may not read this but really. Are you kidding me? First The Mortal Instruments (which I adore!) then The Infernal Devices (meh, but I guess I like those) and then I heard about The Dark Artifices (which I'll probably read) and now this? Oh, and let us not forget the manga and the graphic novels. Way to milk a cow until it's dry. No hate. I adore Clare but I would feel much better if she began something different.
Fangirl - Rainbow Rowell I swear this booK IS MADE FOR ME! I CAN'T CONTAIN MY FEELINGS!
FAN FICTION!
FAN GIRL!

Click to Subscribe - L.M. Augustine "Well, sometimes love is right in front of you the whole time, even if you don't realize it. And, like your vlog, all you have to do is click to subscribe."
First of all, thank you L. M. Augustine for being so awesome and sending me an eARC even though I don't have a blog. It really meant a lot.
I guess I was right when I said (before I read the book) that my rating won't change from my initial 5 stars. Let me tell you this, this book is literally made of awesome. I mean, it had Harry Potter, Nemo/Dory, awesome cow-doing-the-disco-while-standing-on-a-bike-and-balancing-a-pizza-on-its-head GIF and so many more mentions. There's only one word for it and that word is awesomeness.
I couldn't stop reading! I felt like my fan-girl heart was going to explode because of the sheer amount of cuteness!
And, oh my llama, it was so funny!
"Well, when mommie and daddie love each other very much, they..."
Two. Words: THE. HAIKUS.
"My haikus bring all
the girls to the yard damn right
they're better than yours"

I abso-freaking-lutely loved this book!

And yes, it is perfectly normal for an elephant to use a trampoline.

Before I read the book:
[30-3-2013]

Three words:
French.
The.
Llama.

Video blogger, Sam Green and PIZZA!
L.M. Augustine, you are a true Nerdfighter. I just know that this book is going to be made of awesome!
image

*Reading chapter 1:*
"whose profile is complete with an avatar of a cow riding a bicycle while simultaneously eating pizza."
Can this get any MORE awesome? I'm already hooked.

Yes, I read the first chapter and rated (which I've never done before for any other book. That is rating a book before completely reading it) this book 5 stars because:
1. The author is an awesome Nerdfighter.
2. If the first chapter has so much awesomeness... I'm pretty sure that my rating is not going to change after I read the entire book.
Nerdfighters + Writers = Awesomeness
Eleanor & Park - Rainbow Rowell I don't know what I expected when I began to read this book but it was not something with so many feels and an open ending.

The Queen's Army (Lunar Chronicles, #1.5) - Marissa Meyer Wow. I mean WOW. I've read a number of novellas but almost none of them seemed necessary, you know. I would've understood the plot of the preceeding/following book and I could have survived happily in my fandom without reading those novellas. This is an exception. Well, this and Roar and Liv (Under the Never Sky). Because Roar and Liv broke my heart. Anyhow The Queen's Army felt necessary and important in a way. And I'm also in love with Wolf. Not that my being in love with him has anything to do with ... anything.
So yeah, I loved it!

Flirting with Maybe - Wendy Higgins 3.5
Short novel but cute! <3
Also Known As - Robin Benway First of all, I want to say 'I LOVE YOU STEPHANIE PERKINS!' (for recommending this book on her blog. Otherwise, I probably wouldn't even have heard about this book.)

"French is one of the romance languages after all."
(-Said a girl who kissed a guy in a French class after they were caught doing so by the French teacher.)

I learned more about spies from reading this one book as compared to my entire life. I completed reading this book at about 3:00 something AM (because the idea of sleep becomes insignificant when I'm reading a good book.) but I oh-so didn't want this book to end. I couldn't imagine it ending. How can a book like this end?! HOW?! Argh.
I felt happy

and sad when the book ended because the book ended.

asdfghjkl; I LOVED THIS BOOK!
The Rules for Disappearing - Ashley Elston I just discovered this book on my recommendations and here I am, le me scrolling down and all (majority) of the arc reviews include either 4 or 5 stars (the blurb is also intriguing <3) and now I'm like:<br/>image
Cress - Marissa Meyer 2014.
2014?
2014?!
I can't ... I need it now!

Well ... until then ...

Scarlet - Marissa Meyer (I don't remember saying this for books except the Harry Potter series and maybe even Unwind):
There wasn't a dull page.

Since this books was in a different point of view of different characters I thought I might prefer some more than the other or something like that, but no, every page of this book demanded attention.

And now I feel like using GIFs to speak for my feelings.

Cinder - Marissa Meyer I have had this book for more than 5-6 months but I always put off reading it probably because a Lunar ninja (yes, they exist) was working with an Earthen ninja and confounding mundanes who wanted to read this piece of awesome.
image DIDN'T I READ THIS EARLIER?
asdfghjkl;asdfghjkl I LOVED IT.
I'd heard that it was a retelling of Cinderella. This was not a retelling. It was an awesome retelling.Yup, big difference.

Kai. *sigh*
